About Empower Homecare

Welcome to Empower Homecare. We are a service provider of care under the Department of Health.

The company was started by two passionate ladies who identified a need in their community to empower the older generation by providing services in their own homes. We want to ensure that these older people will have a better quality of life while retaining their independence as much as possible.

Empower Homecare are located in Ascot Vale, but there are no geographical boundaries. We provide care and support across all Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

Empower values your input into your care and service delivery, ensuring that your care matches your assessed needs and is in line with your wishes.

Our supported living services allows you to live in your own home, making your own choices, whilst still getting support to live the way you want to within your ability. If your health needs change, we will work with you to ensure your care plan changes to meet these needs.

Imagine!  Care and service according to your assessed needs, delivered by caring, compassionate staff in your own home – now that’s Empowered!

Our Staff

Empower’s caregivers are carefully selected and screened to ensure that they are qualified, experienced and professional. Many of our staff speak several languages and may be able to communicate with you in your own language.

When our carers start working with us, they are introduced to Empower and are assigned a more experienced carer as a “buddy”. Ongoing training and personal development is provided for all staff and performance reviews are conducted annually.

Your carer is individually chosen to meet your needs and of course you have the right to choose a staff member who you feel most suits your needs.
