What changed?

One program for ongoing and short-term support.

Support at Home replaced the Home Care Packages Program and Short-Term Restorative Care Programme on 1 November 2025.

A trained assessor discusses your needs, goals and circumstances.

Receive your support plan

Your outcome explains the supports and funding you may access.

Choose your provider

Select a registered provider and arrange services that suit you.

Funding & contributions

What you pay depends on the service and your circumstances.

Eligible participants receiving ongoing services are assigned one of eight funding classifications based on assessed need.
